Computer's too small for RAW...but...

Is there non-RAW recording format on Magic Lantern? There are a lotta nice features on ML but I'd still have to be shooting not in RAW...for now, as I can only get 8 gigs of RAM on the iMac , and they recommended 16 gigs to run RAW.

Can ML offer higher quality than on the t3i while not being RAW?
