Hello guys,

the display of my 60D stopped working after a few days of not using it.
I believe I was so stupid, to put in a bootflagged SD card without magic lantern files.

Could that somehow cause the display not working?

I could still Film, using an external monitor via the HDMI port.

In my endless wisdom, I tried to get it working by reinstalling the original Firmware (via EOS Utilities)
Now since the display stayed black, I couldn't see if it tried to install. But since the LED didn't blink, I assumed it failed and I removed the battery.

Apparently the Camera was trying to install the firmware, because it's now pretty much bricked.
As soon as I put in a battery, the orange backlight of the top display lights up very dimly (even wenn the Power Button is on off) and stays lit. The camera doesn't do anything.

Now I know, I fucked up tremendously, the 60D is an old camera und you can get it on Ebay for 200 bucks.
But the camera has a high emotional value for me. It was the first expensive gear I got as a student (back then over 800 bucks) and I've shot countless Images, shortfilms and music videos on it.

Is there any hope, to rescue my 60D or should I just give up and live in shame, like the loser I am?
