Promote Control HDR Bracketing Sequence Is Slow

I have the Promote Control and am noticing the delay between shots are slower compare to magic lantern hdr mode. On my promote I have set the shutter cable release frame delay to off (fastest). Can someone with a promote control confirm if that is the case?
