I have been looking for a few days and have not found a good workflow for these two programs. My goal is to grade the least amount of video. I want to convert the .raw video into ProRes 422, edit the video in FCPX and then color grade it in DaVinci Resolve. Is this possible and the best flow?

I pre-Grade in A.E. with the ACR plugin then export as a ProRes 4444
Edit and final grade in Final Cut Pro X 10.1 . ;)
Or I import CDNG's as a image sequence if under 5 min project in FCPX.
and of course you can do the Round trip with Resolve>FCPX>back to resolve for final grade.
I would not convert to prores 422, use Prores 4444, why though away all that information.
I think the ACR plugin in A.E. is about the best, but other may have different opinions on this.

Thanks for the info. Do you recommend pre-grading in AE with ACR or importing directly into Davinci? I tried to import them into Davinci but I cannot get it to work. The videos show up in Media and I add them to the pool but they don't show up in the color tab.

You have to create a timeline and add your clips to it. ;)
