I appologize if this has been asked, but I did a search and didn't come up with anything. I also checked the impossible features thread, but 2k was crossed out like RAW, so I wasn't really sure. Is it possible to get 2048x1080@24p in compressed h.264 in camera? And if so, is it something that's being worked on?

Look harder.
Short answer:NO.
Canon EOS 6D, 60D, 50D.
Sigma 70-200 EX OS HSM, Sigma 70-200 Apo EX HSM, Samyang 14 2.8, Samyang 35 1.4, Samyang 85 1.4.

I thought the same when i realized i couldn't fly.
Canon EOS 6D, 60D, 50D.
