A short little video pushing the limits of low light with the 5D3 Magic Lantern RAW module. Also a reason to test out fcpx 10.1 and resolve 10.

Using only available light and set to ISO 1600, the image is quite clean. Some shots look a little wonky because they are slowed down and use FCPX's optical flow (which isn't new in 10.1, but i didn't actually know about it!).

Unfortunately since the roundtrip with Resolve 10 is broken cuz of fcpxml 1.3, I wasn't able to grade there, so exported ProRes 4444 work files and graded inside FCPX 10.1. It's incredibly fast!

Lenses used were my favourite Trio: Canon EF 16-35 f/2.8, 50mm f/1.4, 100mm f/2.8 macro.
