problems with chipped-lens adaptor in 5D3

In 5D3 its impossible to use some non-Canon lenses with chipped daptor, the camera stuck in the error message "update the firmware".

There are certain chipped adapters that are made for the 5D3 specifically.  I tried to use my old chipped M42 adapter that I bought for my 7D (AF confirm worked on 7d) and I had this issue too, so I just scraped the chip off and instead use focus peaking in ML to pull focus.

When you buy a chipped adapter, make sure it states in the description from the seller that it works with 5D3.
