Idea for implementation in rec. H.264

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if it would be possible to implement some hacks modules and raw_rec mlv_rec on free recording in H.264 for higher bitrates, as the hacks: Preview HaCKeD, Warm-up Card, Extra/Small hacks, Buffer fill methods, etc.

Was it possible? Or these options are developed based only on rec. raw?

I'm not really sure what you're asking but what I know is;

H.264 will require to code the digic which is impossible.

0k, I understand. But implementations as slowing the Canon GUI and warm-up would be something logical to do in H.264, as there are changes in codec or anything, but only for hardware acceleration? I'm sorry, I'm not a developer, I'm just throwing ideas in the air.

Its a HW encoder, none of that helps. At best you're still getting 100Megabit 4:2:0

It is ... I was trying to be hopeful with H.264. Poor guy.
