Can Anyone Please Answer This Question Re: 60D Audio

I have looked for an answer to this question and can't find it. I know there are a wide variety of other great features on ML that make it well worth having but I have a question about audio quality. If the 60D already has manual audio capabilities, will ML improve the quality of the audio in some other way than disabling the AGC? It has a good bit of hiss in manual mode. As I understand it, a huge plus of ML is the ability to override AGC but the 60D can already do that - or am I missing something? Thanks for your time and thanks for this terrific product.
