RAW Playback speed on 5D3

Would like to speedup playback of RAW video on 5D3.
Any simple coding changes I can play with?
As I recall CPU usage was around 85% but now CPU usage is removed so I cannot check.

You need to use double buffering (two tasks, one for reading, the other for displaying).

Thanks! That seems to be way above my skills.

I use playback to check my video for quick assessment on quality, damaged frames, lighting, framing, etc. It would be nice to speed it up even if quality drops. Full speed and 2x speed would be great.

I think poor playback has got to be the single most limiting factor keeping people from using ML raw for more involved productions. I'd love it if it could be improved.

I'd also love it if the bug that causes playback to crash the camera when used with an external HDMI monitor to be addressed.
