After I took some Dual_ISO pictures, and imported them directly from my card into LR, or Camera RAW, the line blending was done automatically. Has anyone else had this experience? This is on the most recent nightly build (or one from two days ago). It does take the program a little bit of time (2-3 seconds) to create the XMP, and with my experience Camera RAW is quicker.

All I did was import into Camera RAW, and do some light CC.

You're saying you just directly imported the cr2 into acr, and then the interlacing was gone?

Yes, that is incredibly weird isn't it? I can upload a screen vid if you want

Try to zoom in on the original. Lines will appear like magic ;)

I just noticed that! It only seemed to blend on the outermost layer! How could that be?

Just uploaded a video that clearly displays shortcomings. On the dropbox folder (it's under 4mb so don't worry about space)

If acr does anything to a dual_iso shot, it's 99.9% by pure chance and some weird side effect of denoising, anti-vignetting or lens correction - imho: forget about it.

The resizing algorithm by nature blends information.

Best let a1ex's code do it properly.
