Digital dolly for H.264 recording

Hi Guys,
First of all congratulation for your work, have been using magic lantern from day 1 and could never live without it.

Is it possible to port the digital dolly function outside the raw module to use it for regular crop recording? I would love such a feature, on the 600D raw is too limited for me to use it.

I thought it was using 3x crop mode to do it. Why it's not possible to change the area of the sensor used for the crop mode? there is no control over it?

For the 600D crop mode it does something else and its own mode.
Sure its possible to change it, just reverse engineer how to do it.
