Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to implement on the 5D Mark 3 RAW video recording to CF Card while simultaneously recording H.264 to the SD card. This could then be made to allow real time playback of the H.264 recording.

This would be a great feature as without real time playback it takes a long time to playback and preview shots recorded.

If it does not support recording to 2 different destinations (CF and SD) could it record both to the same card? As cards are increasingly getting faster now.

Or if all this can't be done. Increase the playback speed of the current black and white preview to real time.

Thanks for all the great help in Making Magic Lantern as amazing as it is today.  :D

most prob not, buuuuut i was thinking wouldn't it be possible to start a new process(idle process of sort) making proxies by rerouting the raw files back through the processor and then to the SD card, effectively making h264 proxies in camera? :P
