MLV raw module and the nightly builds

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to use the raw_rec.mo which records in MLV (main thing I want is card spanning), using the nightly builds from: http://builds.magiclantern.fm/?

I tried using the latest 5Dmk3 build and replacing the raw_rec.mo with the MLV one from the MLV thread, as well as inserting the various IME modules, but there are linking errors when I try to load the modules.

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue ... any ideas?  Thank you!

there have been several "breaking changes" to the ML core in the past couple days (new font system and new memory backend), so older modules aren't working with the lastest autoexec.bin. Try going back a week or two, or figure out when that .mo was compiled and get a nightly from around the same time. Or wait til somebody updates that module for the new changes to the core (or d/l the source and fix it yourself )

MLV has not been merged with Unified and therefore it is not available in nightly build.  I have been paitiently wainting for this since file spanning is great for faster recording in card spanning.  The only way to get MLV for 5D3 is to get it via older builds of g3g00 in the http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=7122.0.  Some of these builds are posted for testing purposes.

Also 1% has incorporated MLV into his builds into the 7D but I have not tested the spanning for the 5D3 via 1% builds.  I think it is called the mlv_rec.mo.

Again the 1% spanning build is not compatible with nightly builds, since he has not done a pull request to unified build.

Any update on MLV? is there a link on the forum for info on it? Can we record at a higher fps? Higher resolution?
