So I was wondering if a ND & GND filter calculator could be possible to integrated with ML.

Thanks.

It already is.

a) go to bulb mode, enable expo override and bulb timer (maybe also FPS override at around 1fps low light). In LiveView you will see how bright the image will be, at very high exposure times.

b) use the APEX indicators from Expo menu (so you can see all exposure parameters in EV). For example, if you get correct exposure at say 1/8000, but you want to get it at 1/50 + ND, look at Tv values from Expo menu; their difference is how strong the ND filter should be.

c) use the ETTR hint from the raw histogram (so you know how much you have under- or overexposed). Note: for accurate overexposure indicator, you will first have to point the camera to a dark exposure (since it can't meter from clipped data, but it can guess from previous images).

For GND you may try the raw spotmeter. Or maybe ETTR with dual ISO and see what it recommends, then turn off dual ISO and use a GND of similar strength (don't know exactly, since I never used one).
