advise required for using ML

Hi, I am a photographer getting in to video.
I use 5D iii with 7D as backup.
I have been using 5D iii video capabilities. I am impressed with what you can do but want to do more dslr video.
I do not wish to tamper with the 5D iii.
I want to know if I install ML on 7D can I shoot full continuous video 1080i (1920x1080) resolution?
Also what quality presets do I need to use.
Also does ML install allow you to take photos or will it be restricted to video only?
I look forward to advise from experts for a newbie beginner.

Please read the user guide. It will tell you most of what you need.
And yes the 7D will video 1080p with or without ML
