ML 2.3 SDXC 64GB won't boot! (no0b)

Hi guys! I am new in this forum and in the M.L world. But im not in yet hehehe.

I want to install M.L on my 64GB SDXC Card.

I download EOScard bootable program for Windows. I make my card bootable, with help of yt tutorials, and install M.L 2.3. I put my card on my 600D and... nothing.
Pressing the trash can button won't pop up the M.L menu as the tutorials show.

I was wondering... I am missing something? I have never install M.L, I have to go to the fw menu and update it? Sorry for my ignorance, but in the tutorials they justo make the card bootable and pop it in their cameras and press the trash button.

Yes you have to run the firmware upgrade once to enable the bootflag on the camera. This tells the camera to search for bootable code on startup.

Oh god dammit! What an idiot hahaha. Thnx mate! Just another inquire, so with my SD card with the M.L and the bootable files I can update the firmware? I mean all the files that de EOScard program installs on my SD.

Already done that. The new EOScard 1.4 brings the 2.3 fw version for my 600d, so I installed with that the files in my card.

But now, I want to know is if with those files on my SD are enough to update the firmware of my camera.

Once you prepare the card with the EOScard, and get the write successfull note on the bottom of the EOScard utility, then the cards contains the files to make the camera bootable.  Athough I have not used the automatic feature on EOScard to download the files so you should check that all of them are in the card.

Thnx! Now I get it, I install it first with my 4gb card and then with my 64gb sdcard bootable I can use M.L any time I want.
