Which cardreader is used? Which firmware version in said cardreader? You installed latest firmware from the cardreader's manufacturer?
USB 2.0 or 3.0? If 3.0: Connected to USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 connector? If USB 3.0: Do you use the board's connector or an PCIe (or other) card?

Or in short: Get a Kingston FCR-HS3 and try again.

Ciao, Walter

adding that my SanDisk cards (ultra) have no issues, but my Transcend card does...

whats crazy is that it also has errors just recording video on the Canon 60d, but it works fine in a Nikon d3100....with the same settings.

now with ML on the 60d, it has the same issues, but not the sandisk ones...so, my guess is it may be a combination of transcend and the card reader.

either way, im only buying the high(er) quality ones from now on....
....note....i will keep the transcends simply as a backup, as it does still work fine in picture mode(s).

hope that helps....

and yes, i noticed in youtube, u found the issue....im just adding info

The Transcend USB 3.0 card reader works perfectly for me with all the cards (Transcend, Lexar, Sandisk, Kingston) I've ever tried...
EOS 7D Mark II, EOS 7D, EOS 5, EOS 100 + lenses (10mm to 300mm), 600EX, 550EX, YN600EX x 3
EOScard, EOS DSLR firmwares, ARMu, NiControl, etc.: http://pel.hu/down
