How one can disable logging on startup? (...ML\LOGS\ROM0.BIN, ROM1.BIN)

You need a custom build for that, exclude CONFIG_AUTOBACKUP_ROM. Plus, it's not logging but adump of your entire ROM which may be useful if you ever brick your camera.....

Got it. So, these ROMs will be needed to unbrick the camera? Can I save a couple of them to my PC, and use them later if i brick my camera?
Or better point me to the thread where i can read something about it please.

The thing is, we don't know HOW to unbrick the camera yet. But ROM dumps are sure helpful if something goes wrong. They contain factory calibration data for the sensor which cannot be replaced by using a rom from another camera of the same model

Some of these dumps aren't right tho... I woudn't flash them back willy nilly. DigicV/DigicIV have different addresses.

So, basically, I should better leave them alone for now, right? ))
