Wich camera  models today works flawlessly with RAW?

Wich models suffer less problems when shooting RAW (moire, aliasing)?

Where can I see the max resolution when shooting RAW for each model?

Wich software do I need to edit a video after shooting in RAW?

Where can I download RAW video to give it a try? (I wish to see if I can edit it with my PC config.)

Thanks a lot for your help! :)

thank you, after 5DMkII wich would you buy?

@Renato
thx sorry I was about hurried posting my questions because I need to buy a new camera very soon. I have found the topic were I can see the differences in main resolutions for each camera now: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=6215.0

can any of those cameras  record in cotinuous shooting until the cards are full at those resolutions showed in the diagram? Also for crop mode there is no info in the diagram about continuous shooting max time at full or intermediate resolutions.

I have not enough money for the 5DMIII wich wolud be a nice alternative for me? Thanks! :)

I have only tested 5DIII on RAW, so I cannot advise you.

arrinkiiii

I think after the 5Diii it will be the 7D (but not yet confirmed, work in progress) and after the 6D or the 50D ...If the camera got CF card it will be better then SD card's cameras.

I would suggest 7D/50D. You can get solid resolution out of them. And the prices are so good.
Moire will be noticeable, but if you can't afford 5DmkIII, you won't get rid of it anyway. Even 6D has a lot of it.
And of course you can always sell it if you're not satisfied.

I've used all cameras mentioned above, hands down, 5DmkIII is worth its money. 7D is also very nice, but haven't tried RAW on it.

Probably something like this:

5DmkII
Blackmagic Pocket Camera
50D

I really wouldn't bother with any of the SD card cameras, you're giving up far too much resolution. As far as the 7D, it's a work in progress, but historically ML has had such issues with that camera that I wouldn't consider investing a hefty chunk of change on it.

thank you for your help guys! good luck I have found the beginner guide: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=5654.0

now I should have some RAW video files to extract and see if my PC can handle this job but I have not a camera yet so I cannot make them by myself unfortunately. can I ask your help here? If someone of you can upload for me one RAW video file so I can try to attempt the beginner guide for the first time?

thx! :)

Files or not mine, couldn't find original source anymore.

Files are already converted from RAW to DNG sequence.

Happy testing!

Thank you so much this is awesome (and I like the shoot). I wish to know what was the original level of white balance if you know it, otherwise I'll try to fix it with my taste.

Thank you again! :)
