5DII Won't boot with normal card unless your remove the batter

Hey,

If you're using the 5D with an ML card and turn the camera off. Is it normal that it won't boot again with a normal card unless you take out the battery? Running into that now and it seems a bit strange.

Sounds like an incomplete shutdown. Wait for the card read/write led to flash after you open the card door before removing.

That's what I suspected too but I've waited for the LEDs and waited for about 5 seconds after that as well just to be safe.
