With the 128gig, you can run up to 29 minutes already since raw video already bypassed the 4gig limit by spanning, passing 70 gig mark the cameras already start to smell funny! I know those are the smell of chips already heating up.
I have shot h264 on a 5d2 almost continuously for about one hour. I've done that four times, I think three out of four it didn't overheat, once did. If camera overheats you will see a notice on lcd and camera will shutdown automatically. Wait a moment and restart the camera. From my experience overheating comes quicker on a 7d than on a 5d2, don't know why (similar cards and in same space, same time). So I think you don't need to worry about breaking the camera.
