?
Please quote the part of the section you read and post a link to this section, too!

Quite sure you misunderstood a remark about IR remote triggers. Quite another story ...

First of all, big thanks to those working on ML, especially Nanomad for heading the 650D port.

Ftlz was talking about this: http://wiki.magiclantern.fm/userguide#lcdsensor_remote

I'm also curious about it because I've tried it on my friend's 550D. If it's possible on the 650D then it would be a fantastic feature to have.

Thanks for mentioning that. Yes it's very useful when you didn't bring a remote for HDR/Astrophotography. Consider it with Intervalometer function. It would be great!

LCD Sensor stuff coming to a 650D near you.

Features:
- Use it as a remote
- Use it to show some handy shortcuts (!). Check under misc key settings

A gestural interface ... Oh, my!
I'm tempted to ask if the camera's touchscreen and this sensor will work together for some really weird stuff and orthopedic surgeons delight.

Ciao, Walter

But in this build you uploaded was no possibility to try it, right?
It was possible to load the module, but there was no new menu point, right?

Hello!

I tried the ML from 18/08 and 19/08, but the red dots in raw video does not disappear.
Tests at different resolutions, tried different converters - raw2dng, rawanizer
What I doing wrong?

Thank you!

Hello,

I encountered a problem in Movie crop mode. The bottom 6 lines in the recording show rubish.

Thanks

Anyone else who noticed this problem? Maybe it has to do with those 1088 lines where in movie crop mode the last 8 lines are filled with rubish. It shows in Microsoft Media Player and in CyberLink PowerDirector which I am using.

Thanks

There was a menu option, but the function was invalid, because adjustments are still required.

Hi, use version and I ML_N_19.08.2013 ML_N_18.08.2013 also generate pink or green dots. Just using autoexec.bin 650D_104.sym and other old card from a previous version ML does not generate points. If anyone is interested to share it.

You still get dots.
But ACR filters them out of the picture and the filter quality is very, very bad.

Tongotongo

Hi spider, the two photos are of two different shots with different 650D_104.sym and autoexec.bin, one goes with the other points and no points out regarding the ACR all I did was save in tiff and do not apply any filters to neither pictures. The bilge Acupe not much room in dropbox, if you zoom in you can see the points in one and not the other.

And by the way .. I fit the web very cute .. is as more verbose.

You're right. At least I can confirm that.
As always, wait for the solution :)

davidtlong

Confused again as I thought the dot problem was gone

benlen

Agree with dave, what's this about the dots coming back again?

I thought this was solved by an additional step/app in post (linked somewhere in this thread) and in addition to that I thought I heard an upcoming release of ML on the 650D would eliminate the dots without having to remove them in post?

Tongotongo

Its not working it will give you a picture full of green dots.  :o
ACR recognize them as artefacts and filters them, but the filter is bad and not everybody is using ACR.
Also the green dots are much bigger so you lose much more resolution.

dimadan

Thanks for explanation!
And what is then the solution? Wait for the new version of ML?
