5D MK II does not power on

I downloaded V2.3 One of my 5DmkII's. The camera was working perfectly. After the download I started experiencing the camera would not power on at %60 of the time. I performed a factory reset. I remove the CF card with ML. Tried several batteries. Still the camera will not power on most of the time. opinions, do you think ML could have done this or is it poor timing and my 5D MK II decided to act up?

I love the firmware and will continue to use it, just need to figure out what to do about this camera, and I am a little hesitant to load it on my other 5D mkii.

Not at expert response... Is your CF card old? What if it's intermittently reacting? Just a thought...

As far as I know ml has not bricked any 5d2 yet. Probably you should try the usual stuff (see sticky topics) and eventually consider hardware failure. Can you give use any more technical details?
