Hey guys,

i think the Titel speaks for itself. What about this Feature?
I like to see my final image (in terms of Color an Saturation)
sometimes its harder to set exposure with bumped up contrast
and/or saturation but a little bit of sharpness in LiveView
would be a dream.

Best wishes
Sam

Ever heard of picture styles?

Sam Makes Movies

Of course, Alex. I dont think you understand my request, maybe
because i am not a native speaker. I try my best with a second attempt.

So, we have the abillity to set LiveView Saturation and Contrast and in
Photo Mode we have also Gain Settings, got me?
What about the same feature for Sharpness?

And something else. Ever heard of beeing friendly? ;-)

You can adjust sharpness from Picture Style menu. I use that all the time for photos.

If you want to record without sharpness, but preview a sharper image, you can try REC PicStyle. The CPU is too slow for real-time image processing (try defishing or anamorphic preview).

The contrast and saturation adjustments are done by the display device, so the CPU stays idle.

Ah, ok that clears it up. I will read about REC PicStyle and test it.

REC PicStyle is perfectly doing what i need.
What i've done:

- loaded the same picture style twice.
- one with higher sharpness for the preview.
- one with normal sharpness for recording.

Thank you a1ex!
