HDR Bracketing menu 'disappears' ???

Hi guys I'm hoping you can help me.
I'm using ML for HDR on my Mk2.
It will work fine and then all of a sudden the entire bracketing menu vanishes from the ML menu's.
The other ML features are still there there, but the entire PAGE of bracketing things is gone. Re starting doesn't fix it, the only solution is to re load the Canon Firmware, then re load ML back on top of it again.
This is a huge PITA when you're out in the field and it forces me to resort to 'spinning the wheel' old school to get my HDR sets.
