We nikonian coding profane would love to see some more people on nikonhacker ;)
Simeone found a command to write stuff onto the card, combining that with the live view stream would make a lot of people happy, specially my d800  :'(

Naaa. xK technology is dead.

The new technology is CT (continuous tone). it's like retina, only better. no pixels at all. and you can scale it up/down as much as you want.
There's also no DR. the new technology for that is called TDI (Thermal Dynamic Interpolation - objects are identified by their thermal signature and thus, can be a black box in a black room... they will be portrayed in a scene).

Problem is, the technology works only on old consumer films (FUJI, Kodak etc.) and only with old cameras (like EOS600).

If you do it every 15 minutes he'll implement 40K.

I don't how about you guys, but I just recently saw Alex and Waldo in the bar drinking, and making fun of the guy with Nikon DSLR.

You got me there, that's just plain awesome, if I take the same scene on the d800 I will get definitly more noise, just to begin with, there is no "real noise" just the constant pattern. How are you doing that :P?

Any way to get rid of the pattern, it looks pretty bad on the midtones?

Different exposure time for different pixels? Random out the whole 1:1 live view stream during some time and then writing? ^^

Where is a1lex from?

The rumor is the Canon factory updated there machine's.... and A1lex was born... unfortunately there is no USB port on him to retrieve the images he has stored in his memory.. maybe a DEV could implement ML into him... time will only tell. I also heard his eyes can produce resolutions of 74K!!
