I've been seeing a lot of questions regarding Magic Lantern's Digital Pan feature, so I thought I'd make this simple demonstration to explain just what it is. Hope it adds some clarity.

Cheers, was just looking for such a demo yesterday :)
I don't really understand though. Did you make this using the actual in-camera dolly function?
It looks like the frame is panning across a still image?
Daybreak broke me loose and brought me back...

Sorry, I should have made this more clear but this is for demonstration purposes only. I used a still image, but this is utilized with video

When something doesn't make sense to me, for some reason I tend to assume that I must be out of my mind :)
I'd really like to see a real example of the digital dolly. I am anxious to see how it really works with various focal lengths and distances. Seeing as I JUST got my Komputerbay card by mail today, maybe I'll make a real-life digi-dolly test tomorrow.
