Well 5 hours ago, I had never heard of Magic Lantern.  I have been reading continuously and have tried to install.  Early today I had updated my canon firmware to 1.0.4 thinking latest had to be the best.  Then I read in a post that 650D-safe-dumper.fir was not compatible with canon 1.0.4 firmware...

So... is it possible to downgrade my canon firmware for this camera?  They only have the latest on the canon website and I can't find it elsewhere on the net...

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Bummer!  The more I read the more I want to play with this.  It seems great.  I see that magic lantern is constantly being updated for the supported camera, but since the T4i/650D is not an "official camera" what are the chance of an update coming out for "650D-safe-dumper.fir"?  Is there a possibility this will one day work in the future or am I out of luck!
