Hello,

i have ML Raw DNG Sequence imported as 24fps in After Effects.
What is the best/easiest way to get double framerates using twixor?
Output should be 48fps.

thank you

It largely depends on the kind of motion and on the scene composition you are filming. There is not a unique set of settings for all the videos.

However, a little advice: twitxor and other interpolation methods are to be carefully used in a well controlled and pre-enginered filming environment, and only for good slowdowns and super-slow-motion very short sequences. I experimented a lot fiddling days with all the settings: there is no way to use it for interpolating normal footage: the results are always vomiting, to say least ! Go for upsizing resolution, instead: it works 1000 times better than interpolating !
If you think it's impossible, you have lost beforehand

what I meant was workflow, not settings.

my way is:

- open dng sequence as 24p
- activate timewarp
- add effect twixtor (input 24p / speed 50%)
- render to 24p (slow motion 50%)

- open file in mkvmerge
- set fps to 48

thats a little complicated i think...:D

Oh boy! ))
Just change your comp settings to 48 fps, then apply twixtor with input framerate 24, and speed 100%.
That's all you actually have to do ))
