Focus Peak Settings

Hi

I have started using manual lenses on my Canon X4 and want to use Focus Peak. I have scoured the Internet but can't find an answer to the following:

How do the Threshold settings differ? How do I decide what settings to use?
What is Global and Local color?

Thanks for the quick reply. I saw that as I have studied the manual, but It doesn't go far enough.

I don't understand the Threshold %'s and what effect local and global color has.

I've read the LL article among others but can't get my head round it.

What am I missing?
