So Cool, IR footage from a 50D

Amazing work from Magic Lantern!

Here is my 2nd InfraRed clip from my Canon 50D, a camera that came out before Canon added video capabilities to the 5D mmii !!!

Btw. I had to reshoot this first test after discovering that I had to cover the eyepiece with my thumb in order to keep from getting a hot spot ... even though the mirror was up?!

Works now. Pretty cool, making me consider a 50D more and more.

Here is a night exterior shot with my IR converted 50D:

Nothing really to be gained using IR at night. Only IR sources are lights. And one misses the additional sensitivity of a full spectrum sensor. This was shot at 1,600 iso, F3.5 @ 30 fps. SHOULD have thrown on my 50 mm 1.8 ?!

IR does seem to make lenses more flarey, ie. their internal baffling doesn't work as well with IR.
