I recently updated my Canon EOS M to the latest firmware 2.02 with ML installed. Initially everything went fine, the firmware update went through, and worked okay alongside ML. After powering down the camera for a few weeks, I tried to turn it on today, and all I got was the rapidly blinking LED light and me camera will no longer boot into the menu.

Any ideas?

Have you tried taking the battery out? A bit obvious, but I've seen this as the instruction of choice with a lot of these issues so thought I'd at least mention it. Best of luck.

I've taken the battery out, and a freshly formatted SD card (non-bootable), and still get the same thing.

If I send it for Canon for servicing, does anyone know if they can help?
