I don't know what went wrong during installation. Go back to first page of this thread, read instructions again and follow them.

Loading ML will take a few seconds, not minutes and not at all 20 of them. If your camera locks for more than a few seconds I (and others) strongly suggest to remove the battery. No, it won't get better over time but worse.

Ciao, Walter

PS: More information, please.
- SD card capacity?
- Build number and/or date?

The answer to that question is no they do not have a downgrade even if you sent it into the factory, they can not downgrade from 1.04

I sent my camera to factory repair and it came back with 1.0.4 on it.  I just got off the phone with tech support and they will not downgrade it for what ever reason.  If some knows how to dump the version 1.0.1 from a camera I have a friend with one we can use.

А без грипа ML работает?
Какой грип конкретно?
Какой билд?
В принципе проблем быть не должно.
Which grip? Which build Version? Please more info.

You know I've been wondering on changelog on satriani page you can also see changes and fixes for other cameras too. eg 7D 600D and so on. I was under the impression that this was a port only for 650D right? Can you actually install the same build on a 7D for example?

This changelog is from nightly builds of ML. For 650D users relevant changes are "650D" and "undefined"
And, no you cannot use this build for 7D, this is for 650D only.

I've read in stable version user manual that you can use proximity sensor (IR sensor above viewfinder) as a shutter trigger. Is there a plan to activate this function on upcoming alpha versions for 650d?

Question to all the guys who runing 1.0.4 firmware wit a STM lens :)
How is a difference to old 1.0.1 firmware? I'm especially interested in the autofocus. Is it now much better/faster?

That is also something I'm interested in. My STM lens is in repair right now, hopefully there is something wrong with the lens, otherwise I would have to send in my 650D for repair.

Is there any work being done to alter GOP size or create ALL-I frames in h264?

It seems like raw is no longer a viable option because of the sensor, but high bitrate ALL-I could give us a serious boost in quality.
