hey there,

first i'd like to thank everyone for all the good work on ML.

I have been using magic lantern for quite a while now on my 5D MK II, but recently got a 5D MK III and installed "Magic Lantern June 3rd(5dee6fc)"

The update ended with "enablebootdisk :)" but then nothing happened. I turned it off...Then it doesn't turn on anymore. tried taking the battery out, cf and sd cards... nothing. it's completely dead. have you encountered anything like it? solutions?

thanks for any help.

I'm guessing you didn't make the card bootable?

Try card out, battery out... only battery back in.

Try formatting your card on a computer in fat32 and then put back the card. The camera should start again. If you the want to try again start by making the card bootable as suggested, then put on magic lantern to the card. Search the forum about making a card bootable.
Good luck!

thanks for the quick help, and moving my topic to the right place.
I didn't make it bootable..indeed.
It only turned on when battery and all cards were removed. would only turn on with the cards in again after they were both formated on pc.

interesting though is, that it would not work either when made bootable first, then ML put on. Only when I put on ML first and then made it bootable, it would work... strange.

Dankeschön!
