[SOLVED] ML as solution to work around 29'59"/4GB limit?
« on: June 10, 2013, 12:22:20 PM »
Hello

A friend would like to use his EOS 550D camera to record conferences, usually about 1hr30-2hrs.

However, Google says that this camera won't record files longer than 29mn59sec or 4GB, whichever comes first.

Is this true? Can ML work around this limit?

Thank you.

Thanks for the link.

The wiki is missing the article to explain what an "HDMI recorder" is, but anyway, my friend normally only uses his camera to shoot pictures, so it's not worth investing time and money if the camera won't easily record 2h-long videos.
