Hi all,

I encounter a problem while trying to install ML on my 650D.
I followed this guide : http://www.magiclantern.fm/install.html
At Step 2 of "First install guide", when doing "Launch the Firmware Update process.", I got this error message : "No Firmware Found On Memory Card"

I already had the correct firmware number : 1.0.4. I downloaded it(from canon) and installed it once again.
I formatted the SD card with my camera, and then copied the unzipped ML files at the root of the SD card.
That means, at the root of the SD card I have : DCIM, MISC, ML and autoexec.bin.

I tried the nightly built "2014-02-11 02:54:41 +0100" and the previous one too.

Any clue would be appreciated... ^^

Thank all in advance !

Falsifi.

You missed the first line of the guide:
QuoteThis guide is only valid for version 2.3. We will NOT support beta versions and nightly builds.

You're trying to install the nightly, this guide doesn't apply. You need the .fir file that sets the bootflag in the camera. There is no 2.3 stable version for this camera, so do this by installing the alpha first, then update to the nightly. Instructions here: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=7473.0

Thank you much !
I didn't miss the first line but I didn't knew what other guide to follow. My understanding was like "This guide is not garanteed for your 650D", not "There is no way this guide will work for your 650D"... obviously my understanding was bad ^^
Certainely cause I'm french...

Thanks again dmilligan !
