If I am not mistaken the Eos M supports UHS-I and therefore _may_ be capable of higher write speeds? I have a clearance priced Eos M coming in this week and I can run benchmarks if anyone can help to compile an Eos M compatible Raw Rec build.

well i asked the same question some time ago, and it appears that sd controller is not fast enough.

Just do a card benchmark test, that will tell you a lot.

The main thing with EOSM is the dots, but I think pink dot remover has advanced a little. Have to try the latest one.

EOSM can do resolutions higher than 600D, esp in zoom/crop mode.

Can someone say what is the largest 4:3 size that can be recorded in crop mode at 24p

I dont have EOSM.
