Hi,

I would love to hear about their experience (if any) on triggering recording multiple Canon EOS M cameras with ML firmware simultaneously either using cord or cordless?! I came to know that this can be achieved by using the audio remoteshot option above 20db in the ML options (https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3710860#forum-post-54175235), but that option did not seem to work in my case, and may disable the in-camera audio recording even if it works,?

Any inputs from others who managed to trigger several Canon EOS M simultaneously?

Thanks.

You can use IR remote. With some tinkering you could provide every cam a dedicated IR diode to trigger it.

Thanks @Walter Schulz. That is something beyond my ability at the momen. So I feel it would be easier to go with @ArcziPL's advise.

Thanks @ArcziPL. Would you mind being a bit elaborative that which kind of hardware to be plugged in to achieve the goal you suggested.

I mean infrared remote.

There are also dozen alternatives and DYI projects.

If your cams are close to each other, maybe you just need an off-shelf remote for 10€ and by pressing the button all cameras will be triggered. I don't know your setup, you should be more elaborative. ;)

Thanks @ArcziPL. Just wondering whether Canon RC-6 can trigger multiple EOSMs simultaneously?

Thanks for the very interesting link. I shall check and get back.

This option seems interesting and economical. Which kind of remote are your referring to?

My setup would be pretty simple. I am planning to take pictures/videos from 3-4 EOSMs, mounted on tripods, set apart approximately 10m from each other in different positions in an area of about 100square meters.

I appreciate your inputs, @ArcziPL. Have a nice weekend and cheers,
