Canon 5D3 - 1/80 - f/5.9 ISO 100
Saxon DOB 8 telescope with EOS adaptor.
Reduced 3 stops in post with a heap of clarity and contrast.

The "mares" are a little bit too dark in my eyes, but nevertheless a great picture. Which focal length did you use?

The "mares" are a little bit too dark in my eyes, but nevertheless a great picture. Which focal length did you use?

I wanted to go for something different. 

F/L was 1200mm.  I'm not sure how to work out the magnification with the camera body.  It's less then with a 20mm eye piece.

Whoa. That's crazy. I tried to get some moonlit ocean shots a couple nights ago but my puny 600D was struggling, to say the least.
7D. 600D. Rokinon 35 cine. Sigma 30 1.4

g3ggo the moon you see is rotated 90 degrees clockwise compared to the moon audionut sees

btw: mine was shot with 5DIII and a Maksutov MTO-11CA (1000mm cassegrain)
