Exposure Override in Av Mode

Is normal that in Av mode with the exposure override ON the calculated shutter speed doesn't change? It's the same exposure set in the M mode.
I want to take silent raw pic with my aperture setting and leave the camera calculates the shoutter speed.

Exposure override only works in M. If you want to set the aperture and let the camera decide the shutter, what do you need expo override for?
