Hi there,

Is there any SDXC card available on market (or maybe some rumors about new one on horizon) that would be able to record RAW at 1920x1080? Which one is the fastest? That one from Sandisk (Extreme Pro)?

Not in the 5D3, or any other DSLR....  they used the old standard and top out at 20MB/sec

Who cares?

The SD-cards aren't the problem. The SD-controllers inside the Canon DSLRs are just to slow to bring us anywhere colse to 1920 X 1080 ;D

Spending money for fast SD-cards is useless if you're filming with something like a 500D, 550D, 600D or a 60D.
As far as I know only the 650D and the 6D will handle more then 21 Megabyte/s write speed. And probably the new EOS 700D and EOS 100D.
But 24p 1080 raw video would require 82 Megabyte/s and that's just not possible with any Canon DSLR that only takes SD cards.

Ironic that the old 40D and 50D seem to be the cheapest but also best DSLR for raw video apart from the 5D Mark III  :D
