Hello to all the wonderful staff. My question is as follows: It will be released or not the canon firmware to unlock the exit clean hdmi? Does anyone have news? So I can choose whether to sell my 5Dmk2 or not (i have ninja 2!). Many thanks

I'm quite sure they won't release it (assuming the HDMI chip inside can do it)

Thank you. So there is no hope? ML will not ever be able to unlock the HDMI output?

There is already a clear overlays function. I'm not going to remove the black bars, because Canon already did on 5D3. Sorry about that.
