Full Uninstall

I wanted to uninstall ML 2.3 from my camera and SD card. I probably did it the wrong way round and uninstalled it from the camera first. Will formatting my SD card remove ML completely or do I need to do it from a camera that has ML installed?

Because ML isn't permanently installed on the camera, you won't be able to uninstall it from the camera.
If you try to deinstall it from the card using the camera and format the card you will find it wouldn't work, too.
Use a cardreader and format the card there.

Well, what I did was to disable the bootflag and it shows the Canon firmware 1.02 as being installed. Are there any ML files written to some cryptic SD card sectors that would not be erased during a full SD card format or is it just the files and folders that you see?

Disable the bootflag, format the card and your good to go.
