Live view recording in b&w only?

Hello,

First post, just installed ML on Friday and first couple of tests seemed ok. Then when I switched 5D MKII on this morning the display was b&w, shot a couple of seconds and the footage was b&w. So checked through the menu but cannot find a setting to correct to colour! so went out and shot b&w all day.
Help please, is this just a menu setting that I have changed, or do I need to re format the card and start again?

Should be in image effects. You can do B/W, swap YUV, etc.

Check footage on PC.

If the footage is B&W, change picture style.
If footage is in colour, either you have one of the false colour modes enabled or you have an image effect enabled (as 1% mentioned).

Yes it was image effects. I had formatted two cards, so was able to check the settings on both. Think it's a good plan to have a card set with your own default settings then if this sort of thing occurs you have a fall back,

You can now check what settings you have modified (Config - Show modified settings).
