Why 600D Audio Performance Lacks

I'm sure you have all seen this graphic below. Do you know why the 600D is lacking in the audio spectrum? Is this the only feature that the 600D lacks compared to the others? I'm brand new to this and I am wondering if I should return my 600D for a different camera because I NEED these features badly.

That's an old draft for the wiki, about more than a year ago.

Try the nightly audio features for 600D were added after 2.3 since it has a different audio chip than 5Dmk2 and others

Do you have an idea on when the audio support will be added to a stable build?  I am curious. I remain patient and very thankful of the amazing things ML and this community has achieved.
