Recording to external recorder with 50D

Hi there

Just successfully installed ML 2.3 on my 50D.  Everything went super smooth except for one thing.  I can't seem to disable the Face Detection box when I have people in my shots.  All of the other graphics are gone, but that little white box is very intrusive on my shots!

I'm sure this has got to be an obvious one, but somehow I can't seem to get the right combination of settings to solve this and get shooting.

Anyone able to offer the solution up for me?

Disable face detect AF? Use quick AF instead
