Datestamp
« on: January 24, 2013, 09:21:17 AM »
Fairly new here and am very thankful for ML doing video but  I'm wondering if Datestamping is possible for still photos for all resolutions and for RAW. I take a lot of pics in the lab and it would be useful to have this option for the 600D I shoot with. I know that the date and time set in the camera are recorded in image files taken (as Exif information).

AFAIK All canon digiral EOS record the date info in the exif metadata.

After that you can use irfanview to simply add the date as an overlay in a batch process (eg http://occasionalutility.blogspot.it/2010/02/how-to-add-timestamp-to-photos-after.html)
EOS 1100D | EOS 650 (No, I didn't forget the D) | Ye Olde Canon EF Lenses ('87): 50 f/1.8 - 28 f/2.8 - 70-210 f/4 | EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 | Metz 36 AF-5

Thanks nanomad> That certainly is a lifesaving workaround. Any chance that this can be an added feature to ML?
