Hi everybody, I want to know if its possible to turn off display while shooting timelapse using my canon 600D and magic lantern 2.3.
I have turn off preview on camera settings, but with bulb ramping on every shots the camera turn on display for about 2 seconds.

Is there any way to avoid this?

Thankyou

No; you can reduce the backlight level at minimum.

Never tried but what about turning the display in closed mode?
I'm using ML2.3 for photography with:
EOS 600DML | EOS 400Dplus | EOS 5D MLbeta5- EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro  - EF-S 17-85mm f4-5.6 IS USM - EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM - 580EXII - OsX, PS, LR, RawTherapee, LightZone -no video experience-

What does closed mode mean?
I have the same question, basically I'm shooting a daylight time-lapse every minute, so the display stays on every shot for 59 seconds, is there a way to keep it off between shots? I understand it shows the timer for next picture but the battery is affected

Yes, but it's very scary, you have to go in Canon menu...
