batter gets empty although camera is turned off

Hey i use a 50D and since i installed ML on it the battery gets empty although the cam is turned off. So the cam works perfectly fine and the next day i want to use it the battery is dead. Any ideas? What should i look at? How do i debug this?

did you remove the card too fast?

Yes i removed it too early a couple of times, how do I fix this?

By not removing it too early, i would say.

Oh not then this isn't the problem... It also drains the battery when I leave the card inside.

Does anybody have any ideas?
